Dear Members of the GB-Russia Society
Our first talk is this coming Wednesday September 14th, and we have a first class expert in Dr. Harun Yilmaz, who spends a lot of time in the South Caucasus on ‘field work’. We have decent bookings so far, but we stall have vacancies for about 14 places. This is an illustrtaed talk.
So, if you have not already booked, do please reserve your places – and help to get the new session off to a flying start!
Please note that there was a mistake in the Journal re. the start time for the lecture by Professor Gabriel Gorodetsky on “The Maisky Diaries”. The starting time is 6.30 p.m. for the wine reception, AND THE TALK BEGINS AT THE USUAL TIME OF 7.00 P.M. (NOT 7.30 P.M. AS PRINTED IN THE JOURNAL AT THE END OF MY REVIEW). This lecture will be an illustrtated one.
