BEARR Trust Anniversary Conference

4th October 2016

Dear All,

Received from the BEARR Trust – hopefully this time with the programme too.

Best wishes

Ute

Dear Colleagues,

You are warmly invited to the BEARR Trust 25th Anniversary Conference, to be held on Friday 11th November 2016 at BEARR’s premises at 32-36 Loman Street, SE1 0EH.

“25 Years On: the Development of Health and Welfare NGOs in the BEARR region”

For our anniversary conference we shall be looking at what has changed in the context of NGO work in the last 25 years in the countries of our region (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, Ukraine, Uzbekistan), and how NGOs have managed to adapt (or not in some cases) to meet the new challenges and opportunities.  We will also look at prospects for the next few years in these rapidly-changing times.

We have sought to invite colleagues who have worked with us over a long period – as partners, grant recipients, conference speakers and in other activities. We are delighted that so many old friends are able to join us, and look forward to introducing them to colleagues in the UK and elsewhere.

The programme and booking form are attachedPlease send your completed booking forms before 5 November 2016 to [removed] or mail toBEARR Trust 32-36 Loman Street, Southwark, London SE1 0EH.
