Dear All Received from the Pushkin Club Penny Dimond and her theatre company, The New Factory of the Eccentric Actor, are putting on an exciting performance at Pushkin Club on Tuesday.  This was inspired by the revolutionary Blue Blouse theatre movement, which flourished in Soviet Russia in the 1920s. Dear Members, Some of you may have known Richard McKane who sadly passed away on Saturday 17th September 2016. Richard’s Funeral is confirmed for Friday 7th October at 11 am at St Bride’s, Fleet Street, London. There will be drinks afterwards at the Humble Grape. Every-one  is very welcome. The lecture by Professor Gabriel Gorodetsky, which will be an ILLUSTRATED presentation will start at 7.00 p.m. (and not at 7.30 p.m. as shown at the end of my review article in the latest copy of the  Journal).   Please note that Professor Gorodetsky is a leading world class authority on the foreign policy of both the Soviet Union and of the Russian Federation.
