This summer Garsington Opera is putting on Tchaikovsky’s rarely
performed opera ‘Cherevichki’. Leonid Zimnenko. a Russian (or
possibly Ukrainian) bass, is singing one of the parts. He will
be rehearsing in London 26 April – 4 June and Garsington is
looking for a Russian-speaking household to have him to stay
during that period.
