Siberia on the Yenisey River, a trip Soviet Style down the
world`s 6th longest river: 15 to 25 July 2004
This spectacular trip on a Soviet style cruise ship from the
mouth of the river at Dudinak to Krasnoyarsk is a must for
anyone interested in the vast remoteness of Siberia, and seeing
one of the world`s remote and beautiful rivers and its wildlife.
Icebound for most of the year the river travels from Mongolia to
the Artic Ocean
Fly to Moscow 15 July 2004 and then on to
· Norilsk north of the arctic circle -a nickel processing
city built by Gulag labour and visit to the notorious Gulag
where and uprising was brutally crushed by tanks-
· `The End of the World` `Ust Port and Dudinka` `a web of
9 story blocks of storm stained concrete` `another planet` and
embark of the ship to sail at 1500 on 16 July 2004 south to
· 6 nights in aboard the cruise ship on a full board

16 July Town-port Dudinka – the capital of Taimyr Region. Bus

Sverdlov and Spandaryan Museums. Stalin`s `place of exile-city

4th day. Bakhta. A walking excursion to the settlement.
5th day. Ledninskaya kurya.
6th day. Yeniseisk – the Father of Siberian cities. This is a
Siberian town with ancient art works made of stone and wood.
Visiting Uspenskaya church and the museum of local lore.
7th day. The festival fire in 52km far from Krasnoyarsk.
Football match between tourists team and team of the crew.
8th day 23 July 2004. Arrival in Krasnoyarsk.
