I hope I am writing to very few people, but unfortunately, owing
to unforeseen circumstances (a country post office running out
of the correct stamps,)some of the journals were sent out with
insufficient stamps on them. If yours was one of them and you
had to pay supplementary postage, please contact the treasurer
at [removed].

adding to the spam in cyberspace, it goes nowhere.
