The Centre for Russian Music, Goldsmiths College, University of London presents…………..

International Summer School, Festival and Competition

Monday 22 August 2005 – Monday 29 August 2005.

Russian performance traditions today!

The Russian school of piano and string playing produced the best ‘star performers’ of the 20th century.

Students will discover ’the best kept secrets’ of Russian music and Russian music education. There will be a special focus on music by
Rakhmaninov, Scriabin, Prokofiev, Shostakovich and Schnittke.

Goldsmiths summer festival / school / competition is a unique opportunity for talented young musicians, music students, post-graduates, teachers and
