AZAZEL'
Thanks to the Russian Consul-General we have acquired a copy of the TV film of Akunin's bestselling first novel – "Azazel" – which we plan to show just before the Akunin/Rankin event at the Book Festival. Unfortunately the film is not subtitled but if your Russian is rusty you have time before 11 August to bone up on the story from the English translation of the novel – "The Winter Queen".
"Azazel" – film in 2 parts, dir A. Adabashian 2003
Thurs 11 August
7pm, Room 1.05 (ground floor), Boroughmuir High School
No charge
