RBCC LONDON CHRISTMAS COCKTAILS RECEPTION AND BUSINESS SEMINAR
WEDNESDAY 7TH DECEMBER, COUNTY HALL, LONDON
OPPORTUNITIES FOR SMALL AND MEDIUM COMPANIES IN RUSSIA
WHAT WORKS – WHAT'S NEEDED – WHAT'S NEXT?
The Russo-British Chamber of Commerce invites you to a unique event to celebrate
the successes of the past year, and look ahead to 2006.
RBCC LONDON CHRISTMAS COCKTAILS has for many years provided an unrivalled
opportunity for both Russian and UK business people, from sole traders to global
corporations, from experienced operators to those expanding into an exciting new
market for the first time, to make new contacts, share experiences, gain
knowledge and look forward to the opportunities and challenges of the year
The RBCC, active in Russia and the UK since 1916, is known for its practical,
relevant business events, bringing experts from both countries together to
examine the dynamics of the Russo-British business environment. RBCC London
Christmas Cocktails 2005 builds on the Chamber's long held strengths of
combining focused, professional seminars with valuable contact-building
opportunities, incorporating for the first time an afternoon seminar on the
opportunities and challenges that lie ahead for small and medium business in
both the UK and Russia.
In both countries there is much talk of the need for diversification, and
support for the SME sector as the most effective way to ensure future
prosperity. But is enough being done in Russia and the UK to help small and
medium-sized companies to achieve and maintain profitability?
We are delighted to welcome SERGEY BORISOV, President of OPORA Rossii, the
Russian Public Organisation of Small and Medium Russian Businesses, as keynote
speaker at this event, and PROFESSOR IVAN BORTNIK, of the Russian Fund for
Assistance to Small Innovative Enterprises, to examine the current climate for
SMEs in Russia. UK speakers from the manufacturing and service sectors,
combining over 70 years of successful business growth in Russia, will share
their perspectives on what is needed to trade profitably and long term in the
modern Russian economy.
For any company seriously looking to enter Russia or the UK as an export market,
this event will provide vital information and advice.
