RUSSIAN DIAL CODES CHANGED
From December 1 Â 2005 telephone area codes for Moscow and 18 regions of Russia changed!
Moscow's new dial code is 495 instead of 095, Moscow region is 496 instead of 096.
By the end of January 2006 both the old and the new codes will operate. From February 1 only the new codes will be supported. The dial procedure within a zone will not change. For more information, please see attached the list of new and old codes.
