Russian community in Glasgow: Children's party 14 Jan
A children’s party marking the Orthodox Christmas and the Old New Year
(according to the Julian calendar) will take place at 2pm on Saturday 14 January
in the halls of Anderston-Kelvingrove Church, 759 Argyle Street (at Elderslie Street),
Glasgow G3 8DS.
Everyone is welcome.
There is no fee for attending, but donations are welcome.

7pm: "Music in the Life of Pasternak: Shostakovich, Skryabin and Yudina."
Pre-concert talk by Evgeny Pasternak (in Russian, with English translation)
8pm: Music by Skryabin and Shostakovich.
8.45pm: Interval.
9pm: "Pasternak and Music", a talk by Professor Angela Livingstone.
9.30pm: Music by Pasternak.
Venue: The Auditorium, Fitzwilliam College, Cambridge. Pianist: Marina Primachenko.
22nd January 2006, Sunday, 7pm
"My Father"
A talk by Evgeny Pasternak (in Russian), with an opportunity to ask questions.
Venue: The Lecture Theatre, Scott Polar Research Institute, Lensfield Rd, Cambridge.
