Please find details of the forthcoming Shostakovich on Film season at the
Barbican Cinema in London, in association with the UK Shostakovich

Dates of the screenings will be confirmed shortly and they will be
available on the UKSS website and the Barbican Cinema website
The season is launched with a special screening of Testimony on 11 June.
Barbican Film is delighted to celebrate the centenary of Shostakovich's
birth with the biggest season of his work on film ever presented in this
country, including specially imported prints never before seen in the UK.
The series will be launched with a screening of the biographical drama
Testimony, followed by a discussion with director Tony Palmer, John Riley
author of Dmitri Shostakovich: a Life in Film and film writer Gareth
The season has been mounted in association with the UK Shostakovich
