To all members of The Great Britain-Russia Society
This is to advise you that the talk "REVISIONIST HISTORY – A PRACTICE
REVIVED?" on Monday October 20th (6.30 p.m. for 7.00 p.m. at Pushkin
House) WILL DEFINITELY TAKE PLACE.
Although Arkady Vakeberg has had to travel urgently and at short notice to
Moscow to assist writer colleagues in the Russian PEN to negotiate terms
with the Russian Government about the future of their organisation, we
have been most fortunate – and we have managed to secure an equally
speaker on the subject, who is arguably an even more famous personality.
His identity will be revealed only on Monday night.
This promises to be possibly the most revealing and riveting talk IN
RUSSIAN that it has ever been our privilege to hear, so if you have not
already booked, I strongly recommend that you do so immediately,
preferably booking over the internet on the Society's web site, or by
contacting Ute Chatterjee very promptly, before all the seats are snapped
Looking forward to seeing you on Monday.
