We have received two comments about the play "Burnt by the Sun". Here
With best wishes
I have seen this play & can highly recommend it! There is a splendid
set, a large cast, Chekhovian atmosphere and a brooding sense of the
future, with harsh developments only at the end of the performance.
People will be talking about it. Go!!
One of our members – Charlotte Pyke – is the understudy for the main
female character Maroussia. As an understudy she has two minor roles,
appearing as a member of a beach party, having just climbed out of the
water, and as a member of the Pioneer corps where she is seen in uniform
playing her clarinet upstage. She will play the main role in a matinee
on Tuesday 17 March when her piano skills will be put to the test.
