Theatre perfomances

26th August 2009

Dear All,

Details of a couple of theatre productions based on Russian litrary works
at the Gate Theatre, Notting Hill.

VANYA, is inspired by Anton Chekhov’s UNCLE VANYA.UNCLE VANYA is an ode to
unrequited love, dogged perseverance, and the strength of the human
spirit.

In VANYA, Sam Holcroft and director Natalie Abrahami strip away the
bustles, samovars and supporting cast, to chart the inner lives of four of
Chekhov’s most beloved characters.

Two men love the same woman.
Two women love the same man.

VANYA explores the chaos and heartache that ensues when we fall in love.

Tickets £16 concessions £11 from www.gatetheatre.co.uk or 020 7229 0706
