To all members of The Great Britain-Russia Society
Natasha Dissanayake has drawn my attention to some misleading mistakes in
punctuation (for which I apologise) in the trailer for her talk in Russian
on 'The Great Russian Ballerinas'.
That part of the trailer should read as follows:
"The inimitably graceful Anna Pavlova who toured many times all over the
world; fragile and tragic Olga Spessivtseva; the true queen of the ball
Marina Semyonova; the inspired genius of Galina Ulanova; Alla Shelest
whose innermost talent suffered persecution from an omnipotent rival; and
Maya Plisetskaya, daring as a flame, as a challege…." etc
Do NOT miss this fascinating presentation on Wednesday April 7th at the
earlier starting time of 6.45 p.m.Video clips with with unforgettable
ballet and music, and a presentation in beautiful Russian to delight the
ear.
Give yourselves a treat by reserving places now, not only for yourselves,
but also for your family andf friends!
Best wishes
