Dear Members and Friends,
All next week, Radio 3 will be broadcasting short talks, commemorating the
centenary of Tolstoy's death, and people connected with our society
feature.
On Monday, 15 November, one of our honorary vice presidents, Dr Rowan
Williams, will speak about his passion for Tolstoy at 11 pm.
On Tuesday, 16 November, A.N. Wilson discusses Lev Tolstoy's work at 11
pm.
On Wednesday, 17 November, Helen Dunmore will discuss the life of Tolstoy
at the same time of 11 pm.
On Thursday, 18 November, it will be the turn of Prof. Tony Briggs, who
addressed us recently on Tolstoy, talking about the author's life, work
and continuing influence (same time as previously).
And on Friday, 19 November, Bridget Kendall, BBC radio correspondent to
Moscow from 1989 to 1995 will explain her passion for Tolstoy.
Each broadcast is 15 minutes long.
