Russian Elections discussion

Please note details of a discussion taking place on the elections and
related issues. Details below if anyone wishes to attend.

At 18.00 on Wednesday 8th June King’s College London and will host key
speakers from the Carnegie Russia 2020 project team to discuss significant
issues facing Russia’s future.

The final agenda will include

• How the Elections Will Shape Russia's Future (Nikolay Petrov, Carnegie
Moscow Center)

• How the State Will Manage the Elections (Boris Makarenko, Center for
Political Technologies)

• Identity and Ideology in Today's Russia (Maria Lipman, Carnegie Moscow
Center)

• Social Drivers for Change and a Role for Europe (Sam Greene, Carnegie
Moscow Center)

• Security and the Military (Pavel Baev, Peace Research Institute-Oslo)

Hosted in the historic King’s College London campus on the Strand, the
discussion will finish with a drinks reception.

Guests will include journalists, academics and members of the Russian
community in London.
