In this the 70th anniversary year of the start of the Siege of Leningrad,
Caroline Walton's new book has a special significance. Caroline will talk
at the SCRSS on what we can learn from the survivors of the Siege, what
kept them alive and how creativity contributed to their survival. Her
book, The Besieged, was published on 8 September 2011 by Biteback Books
and copies will be on sale at the event. All are welcome.
