Dear All,
Please note details below of a forthcoming film at the Frontline Club
Regards,
Andrew
On Friday 12 October (7PM) we will screen the documentary 900 Days about the siege in Leningrad during the Second World War. Director Jessica Gorter captures the distance between individual memory and the way history can be exploited by politics. She shows how censorship, propaganda and fear can get a grip on people’s memory. The screening will be followed by a Q&A with director Jessica Gorter and Anna Reid, author of Leningrad: Tragedy of a City Under Siege 194-44. I would be very thankful if you could pass on this information to your network. More de details about the screening can be found here: http://www.frontlineclub.com/events/2012/10/screening-900-days.html
