A rare opportunity to hear a talk on the trade secrets of poetry translation by an outstanding translator and a poet in his own right, Professor Grigory Kruzhkov, who translated Donne, Shakespeare, Keats, Tennyson, Edward Lear, Carroll, Yeats, Joyce, Frost and Heaney into Russian. A book of translations of Seamus Heaney’s poems in bilingual edition will be available for purchase at the event.
