Dear valued GBRS members
i hope this message finds you enjoying the summer.
I’m writing to you about the new standing order forms that were sent to you together with the latest edition of the East West journal towards the end of April this year.
As Daniel Salbstein explained then in his letter to you, we have been required by NatWest to change our account number (sort code unchanged). As a result, all your existing standing orders with us cease to be valid in July. In order for us to continue to receive your membership fee this year we need you to complete the new standing order mandates and return them to me in the SAE which was also enclosed with the East West review.
Many, many thanks to all those members who have already sent in the new standing order forms – it’s much appreciated. We are very grateful for your continued support.
We are hoping that as many as possible of those still to complete a revised standing order mandate will do so, and return it to us.
Your support enables us to continue to produce the much-loved East West journal and to arrange fascinating lecture programmes. We need you.
If you bank on-line it is also possible to change the standing order details directly with your bank and a few members have done so. In this case it would be great if you could let us know for our records.
We look forward to hearing from you.
Treasurer of the GBRS
